2. How did you become interested in Marissa’s case?
I heard about Marissa’s case in the news; I have been following criminal sentencing in Florida after George Zimmerman became famous for killing Trayvon Martin. Marissa was so obviously the target of injustice, her case grabbed me immediately.

I would say: “I am so impressed by how brave you are as you go through this ordeal. I’m so, so sorry that this is happening to you. You don’t deserve any of this.”
